And Unto Dust Returned - Captain Blood - (PG) Author: Xenacryst Date: 11/2006 Characters: Jeremy, Arabella, Peter (by reference) Summary: There is a point where the incomplete nature of the ship's logs is brought out quite clearly, but we are left to wonder what happened to the lost journals of Jeremy Pitt. Notes: Written for Elke Tanzer in the Yuletide 2006 challenge. I must thank Elke Tanzer for urging me into this fandom, one way or another, even though she didn't know it at the time (I should probably also thank an appletini for making it possible to keep from giggling out loud the whole time). Also, thanks are due to all of the other authors in this tiny fandom, in particular Ursula, who must share a similar fascination with Pitt's journals, and Angel, who gave me the setting for these three characters, late in their lives, even if I have taken a slightly different view on their earlier relations. And, of course, thanks to J for cheerfully putting up with me and beta reading. |
